No public comment on budget scheduled

Roseville will not have a formal public comment time for citizens during budget workshops scheduled for Monday, as well as Aug. 11 and Aug. 18.
"It makes absolutely no sense to have the public comment to the council on items that the staff has not even presented to the council or the residents," said Mayor John Kysylyczyn.
A date has not been set for public comment time on the budget, but citizens' first chance to weigh in publicly would be Sept. 15, Kysylyczyn said.
The mayor said citizens can still speak informally to him, other council members or staff about the city's 2004 budget.
