2007 Roseville School Board Election
During the 2007 Roseville school board election campaign season the Roseville Citizens League (RCL) will provide voters with information on the candidates and their positions on issues important to the school district's future. General Election - November 6th

To help voters decide who to vote for, this years school board candidates have provided an unprecedented four hours of video plus written answers to 33 questions.
Five of the six school board candidates that made it through the primary election participated in a September 6, 2007 primary candidate forum sponsored by the Roseville Citizens League. The forum can be seen at any time by clicking here which will bring you to the CTV15 website. Note that this requires a high speed internet connection and that you have Apple's QuickTime (version 7.1 or later) program installed on your computer. QuickTime is FREE so download it now by clicking here. All 16 questions appear to the right of the screen. Clicking on the corresponding link at the lower left of the screen allows you to go directly to the questions you want to hear the answers to without having to watch the entire 90 minute program.
CTV15 recently invited all school board candidates to record statements. We understand that all 6 candidates did participate. CTV-15 will be broadcasting the statements on cable Channel 15 as a show entitled: "The Candidates Speak Out." Click here for the broadcasting schedule. The League of Women Voters will be holding a forum for the School Board Candidates of district 623 October 25th at 7 p.m. in the city council chambers of Roseville City Hall. It will be broadcast live as well as rebroadcast on cable Channel 16. The show will also be viewable at any time on the CTV15 website. See the note in the above paragraph regarding the need for QuickTime.

Primary Election - September 11th

Twelve candidates filed for three Roseville School Board seats to be filled during this fall's election. The primary was held on Tuesday September 11, 2006 to narrow the field down to six. Click here for a copy of the results by precinct [this was posted on the Ramsey County website but as of 9/25/07 the date was incorrectly noted as November 8, 2005 - the correct date is 9/11/07].
The Roseville Citizens League developed a questionnaire which was sent to all candidates. We solicited questions from everyone in the community and submitted the 15 most frequently asked questions to the candidates. Click here to read their replies.

The Roseville Citizens League held a 2007 School Board Candidates Forum from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM on Thursday September 6, 2007 in the Rose Room in the John Rose Oval - click here for details. It was televised live on channel 18 (the school channel) and is being rebroadcast on public access channel 14 (local government and sports):
Monday Sept. 10 at 5 am, 4 pm, and 10 pm
Tuesday Sept. 11 at 6:30 am and 3:00 pm.
